Mac Id Binding by MTNL

MTNL has recently started to bind mac id's of router/pc..atleast for alcatel users I am unable to access PPPOE mode...through the router..as MTNL has binded the mac id of my pc hence only bridge mode is functional.
 
mac ID binding is being resorted to by MTNL for quite some time now..but they dont normally use MAC id's of routers/desktop PC's to implement port binding..it could be a configurational error..unless ofcourse its a new policy of MTNL to allow access from only 1 PC..U should complain to them to release the mac ID associated with ur account
 
any more info on this? i seem to be able to use thw connection only on one pc...using utstarcom wa3002-g1EDIT: this was just a temp problem that seems to have solved itself...
