Low download speeds as soon as I close the laptop's lid

So,this is a pretty strange problem o.0 Whenever I download something and just close the laptop's lid,speed drops from 400 kBps to 75-80 kBps and as soon as I open the lid again speed jumps back to 400 :OI am using Reliance Broadband and I tried downloading with lid open with screen timeout set to 'never' then speeds were stable.So,does that means that reliance will decrease the speed as soon as PC goes to 'idle' mode ?Any help will be appreciated 🙂

ok i am late to this thread. there is no way reliance can tell what you are doing with your laptop. laptops go into power saving mode when i close the laptop lid. and you discovered it.
