Low download speed on Google playstore.

So it seems for me Google playstore downloads are caped at 4MBps while using Airtel ftth. Using VPN it goes till 20MBps. Any fix for it?

Not really. I get my full plan speed (~6 MBps) in playstore.

Setting dynamic dns from ISP seems to fix the issue , which dns are you guys using on your router?

Not at all weird.
Cloudflare does not have EDNS support: FAQ · Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 docs
So no DNS load balancing happens while using its DNS.

When you use Airtel DNS, which uses EDNS, you are served content from the server closest to you, based on your location. This in turn gives you better speeds.

I had this problem since long. Instead of changing my ISP, I changed app store by switching to iPhone. Problem solved!
