Looking for internal dvd writer for an old laptop

Dear Friends,

I have an old Toshiba laptop purchased 6-7 yrs ago, but works fine with LXDE version of Fedora etc type of Linux. Recently its internal dvd writer stopped working, so I am now wondering if an internal dvd writer compatible with this old laptop is available in the Indian market or not. Can you please guide me? Thanks.

Better to go with External USB Based DVD Writer.As most probably this would have P.A.T.A. interface which is Hard to find these days.Having a USB one would let you use it with multiple computers too.Try flipkart or ebay for External Writer.
