Link not stable !

I am a old BSNL user. Using BB since 2005. From last few months I am having a strange problem. Link is disappearing in every few hours and again its coming itself but then I cant connect internet. I need to switch off and on the modem, then I can connect. its very strange to me. I made fault booking several times but looks like they are not correcting this problem !!
Its happening randomly .. sometimes, link stays for 10 minutes and sometimes 1 hours .. then it goes off and then again comes back but when it comes back, I cant connect internet. It gives me 691 error. But when I restart modem, I can connect .... this is happening all day all night...
is this modem's problem? or Bsnl's problem? any idea?
 
It could be a modem problem or BSNL problem. Use a friend's modem and check. Call BSNL and ask them if there is anything like this reported by other users.

I dont have any friend near me who has bsnl ... but one friend lives far away from me and he told me he having same type problem too !!
I called bsnl told them several times ab this...all they say "thik hai" ..and cut the phone !!
 
If restarting works, I doubt it is a modem problem. You can also use an Airtel modem and use 0/35 as VPI/VCI.

I can't test it since no friend has airtel !! damn !! I will call bsnl tomorrow and try to replace this modem !! I hope they will replace it !! I am using MT841 !!

I called my friend who has bsnl .... to be sure exactly what problem he is having .... and he told me the same as mine. only difference is...its happening to him twice or thrice in 24 hours..but mine is happening every few minutes and hours !!

Alright, attenuation looks good. I'm unsure about the SNR as it's being displayed as pure SNR and not its margin. Someone please advise.

my God !! its now happening in exact 15 minutes interval !! net getting disconnected ... link is not going away but I cant reconnect !! But when I turn off on modem, then again I can connect ...
I think its modem's problem !! 🙁((
