if properly implemented, it could be very useful for everyone. they can have documentaries explaining indian laws. and guides on what to do in multiple case scenarios. of course it would be hard to generate original content for daily basis so an independent channel kind of sound stupid. unless of course, courts in india allow for video recording in which case, it could also broadcast important ongoing cases live or deferred.

i would personally love to have an unbiased propaganda free channel giving legal advice. there could be hourly program on a daily basis which answer queries from viewers and so on. sadly, we do not have much to show in the name of legal drama like the us or uk... so that's not an option.

court proceedings is already on record right? having it on video would only boost the transparency. courts have already said that the information would not be made available through RTI. so it's absurd that they are not allowing audio recording.

parties to the case should have access to audio and video recording of the court proceedings.

and information related to general public like PILs should be released in public domain. or at least made available under RTI.
