Laptop with Budget upto 1-1.25L

My primary requirement is RAM 16GB single slot so that it can be upgraded to 32GB later. Please do not suggest Apple laptops as my work revolves around Windows.

Laptop should be repairable so that I can swap out components.

Check out HP Victus range on Amazon ... gaming level specs without the annoying RGB.

RAM is 8x2 but you can replace with 16x2 later and sell the old sticks...

Amazon questions answered by HP person saying Linux also supported but it has latest Realtek wifi chip so have to reconfirm that latest linux releases support...

LG Gram seems to have expandable ram based on user reviews. But even their 1L rupee model comes with 8GB ram out of the box 🥴

It's such a sorry state for us in India. First we pay inflated prices compared to what is being paid internationally, then we usually get a toned down version of any series.

Amazon seems to have three working listings with 11th gen intel for lg gram. so i5 11th gen is already available and i7 11th gen should arrive in near future.

This Fujitsu model comes with 16GB RAM but it seems to be soldered. Nice to see more companies launching ultralight high end models at pretty reasonably prices in India.

Asked my employer to ship one from US as whatever I am going to buy in that budget will be much lower spec'ed.
