Laptop For 23k

Saw AX000016 Laptop from HCL on http://www.futurebazaar.com.

It has 256 MB RAM, C7 Processor, Combo drive. Basically everything someone need for a PC that is used for Email/Browsing plus creating / reading office documents.

Sounds interesting.

Has anyone used machine built on C7 processor? What was your experience?

Acer delivers a pentium m based laptop for around 27K. a via would not be a good deal for that price!

umm... we bought one from the local showroom in gurgaon. this was like more than a year ago. we paid around 30K. we get a lot of similar offers in local newspapers. rediff has one listed for 30K.

if u have ICICI EMI Card, then you can get a 17" inch, 1 gb ram Acer notebook for 40K...i have the card, if u want it, i can get it for u for 45K ...jk

Dell has models available starting at 45K i think. though not with a gig of RAM. but if u want to spend money on a laptop. better get a configuration which would suffice for atleast 2-3 years. and pentium M is not a very powerful processor.
