Land Line Telephone For Broadband Internet Connection

Hi, I would like to know, is it neccessary to have the PSTN Land Line telephone for getting the broadband internet connection from any provider?. If it is possible without having landline then, please suggest me which is the best broadband internet connection in Chennai City. Regards Rajan

BSNL and MTNL and Airtel provides BB bundled with Telephone line. But others VSNL/Reliance provide standalone BB.

yeah u r rite .. ! u dont require a land line connection to get a connection from any of the providers like airtel, reliance, tata aka VSNL. etc
