Kerala Vision Broadband FTTH

Hello - i am using Kerala Vision Broadband FTTH connection. GPON modem is Net Link HG323RGW. Does anyone know how to rectify NAT issues on PS4. I tried all settings DMZ, UPNP, Port forwarding but nothing is working out. The NAT type on PS4 is always 3 (restricted). Will connecting a router help (ONT Modem LAN to Router LAN). If it helps can someone share the steps for same. Thanks in advance.

Do they assign a public IP address? Is uPnP turned on?

Hello Varkey. I guess they have given a private IP. On ONT modem LAN IP address states 192.168.1.1. Pardon my limited knowledge on this stuff. A DHCP range is specified with range 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.254. Thanks.

I think his ONT is not in bridge mode.

@vignesh_venkatesan will just changing to Bridge mode will suffice the need. i am not that good with networking. please let me know. Thanks.

Looks like they use CG NAT, so it would be an issue. Not sure how you can work around that. 🤷‍♂️ Is uPnP enabled? (2nd link in the last screenshot)
