Downstream UpstreamSNR Margin (dB): 10.4 31.7 Attenuation (dB): 30.5 14.1 Output Power (dBm): -1.9 0.0 Attainable Rate (Kbps): 21156 1228 Rate (Kbps): 2236 252 Thoughts?

its decent..but snr should be above 15 for good performance..some router can handle low snr margin.i was getting snr below 8 since 2 days..now this SNR Margin (dB):23.9 7.7Attenuation (dB):55.5 31.9Output Power (dBm):12.8 0.0Attainable Rate (Kbps):1228 944Rate (Kbps):1069 944

Damn! My line quality is like rated 'D'. Your S/N Rations are way better, out power is like way better (12.8 to my -1.9)BTW - Which plan are you on?Which DSL Modem do you have?

@rohit567 Your Attenuation is too high, mine has gone to 33 & that is considered high but for both of us the SNR margin is decent or we would face disconnections

well now snr is back to 8.6 and upload increased to 1020 kbps..
i m on 999 plan i.e. triband 512 combo new n wifi-router DNA-A212

line attenuation is high ... i m 2-3 km far from exchange

@rohit567 My distance is even less but there are many other reasons than just distance which can cause attenuation to jump up. Also usually if the SNR goes below 10 there is frequent disconnection. Do you suffer the same?

no..right now snr is 6.6..no disconnection
wat does line attenuation do? 2-3 km is too far from exchange
wat can b the results of high attenuation? how much low it should be?
