Fellas,
Today I took hathway. They say this is the fibre (FTTH) connection, the cable they are using is a sterlite 2F G657A2, I am not sure. The ONT provided is a ZTE ZXHN F601. They wanted to provide their router as well, a D-Link but I had a Netgear router myself, albeit old but I preferred to keep mine.
They just configured the connection in couple of mins with default settings (screeshot attached) but since last couple of hours I am playing on German CS server and the ping is hovering around 170 ms. Is there a better way to configure the connection so that I achieve the lowest latency on these CS servers among other places?
