JIO WiFi Calling not working with my broadband

Hi,

I am using Samsung Galaxy S10+ with Jio & Airtel SIMs. WiFi Calling gets enabled for both my SIM everywhere except when connected to my home broadband.
At my home broadband, which is Airtel broadband franchise, Airtel WiFi calling works but Jio WiFi calling does not work.
During my experiment, I connected my laptop with WiFi and created a hotspot and connected my mobile with that network. This time both SIMs enabled with WiFi calling.

Any suggestions.

Check the dns of your connection, vowifi is very picky about dns.

I am using Digisol router DG-GR1310. I am not sure how to modify DNS. Here are the existing network info

The isp at my village home used 4.2.2.2 dns server, I couldn't use vowifi both in my airtel and jio connections until I changed it to google dns.
Vowifi was essential for me there because my village home has very very poor coverage on both airtel and jio.

Best to Configure on the phone so that it is applicable on all networks.

Hi,

I changed DNS to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4, but that didn't help.
Also, I enabled Private DNS that didn't help either.

But as others mentioned, Jio is very picky, you might need to use ISP resolvers. CloudFlare is another known working resolver based on my testing.

as cloudflare indeed works on reliance vowifi as someone mentioned on the previous page... just keep it for a few hours to see if it latches on eventually. also of course restart your phone. also check here if cloudflare is being used at least.

Jio Vofi is more tricky to work than Airtel.

As @Sushubh mentioned, try using cloudflare DNS. And yes jio's implementation is quite tricky to have it working.
