Jio may increase prices due to increased debt

Next week's AGM may have some surprises, with respect to pricing of Jio 4G that hasn't changed since inception almost 3 years ago.

If they don't increase the prices, then the other alternative to bring some revenue is through launching Jio Fiber. Even if they launch today, last mile connectivity can drag for years.

to cover mass market jio will have to go through LCO route, at this pace jio would take 5+ years to completely cover tier 1 and 2 cities only.

As you said, Jio is indeed going through LCOs. Just confirmed it.

As for Jio 4G plans, no increase in prices (for now).

IIRC LCOs were mentioned for their TV service, and not Fiber service.

My lco has laid fiber cable up to my house but not connected anything ...he also upgraded my local Ethernet switch to gigabit ...he told me way back that JIO will use them to provide fiber bb so I believe him why else would he lay fiber and also upgrade Ethernet to gigabit at the same time .....I reckon Ethernet upgrade is for current ISP so they can compete with jio speedwise and when JIO will launch he will use the fiber ...
