Issue with DSL Link

I am facing a strange issue with my DSL Link being unstable. When I switch on the modem, it works fine for some time but later the link becomes unstable and starts blinking. If I pick the phone receiver and keep it back, it connects again, works fine for some time, then again becomes unstable, I again pull up the receiver, it works and so on. Any idea what could be the issue?
 
Try with a new or different splitter
 
Post your line statistics. You can get those by accessing your modem management page (192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 etc depending on your modem) in your browser...
