Is Tata Sky Binge+ set top box wothy at INR2499 upgrade as I just want OTT apps on my TV. Moreover, tata sky gives subscription to a few of those at INR 299 per month but they want the user to recharge for TV as well be it at their basic pack.

I will always recommend getting a fire stick and choose to pay for the apps you want. And you can use those services on your personal devices as well whereas Tata Sky's free subscription works only on TV.

After reading issues faced by people in IBF threads for Jio STB and Airtel Xstream devices with OTT subscriptions, I am also thinking FireTV stick is good option.
I have Hotstar, Eros Now and Discovery+Annual Subscription, and Zee5 and Sony Liv occasionally subscribed on FireTV OTT Apps, and it works fine.

It very good if you want a hybrid setup box with both OTT and Satellite channels. You can sideload apps too with it.

Free up internal storage. Delete unwanted. Not lags in 1.5Gb free memory. Booting takes time in cold start, less time in standby startup.

Can someone tell my why all of a sudden all internet only channels disappeared from tata play binge plus set top box ?

For example fateh tv 2008 channel number is not there now. I even did a factory reset of box but still those channels do not appear.

Only travel xp 4k hdr is present.


Any solution to fix this issue ?
