Is port forwarding blocked on TSBB?

tried opening ports for my PS4 but whenever I check the same it’s showing up as closed.

Tata Sky uses CG-NAT for IPv4. There is nothing in this world you can do for “real” port forwarding once behind CG-NAT. Make sure you have enabled IPv6 Nokia ONU or call up Tatasky BB support to enable static IPv6 for you. Hope PSN network also uses IPv6. IPv4 is gone man… over. Adapt to using IPv6 now. No way around it. TataSky don’t provide Static/Dynamic IPv4 even if you are willing to pay them money. If you still want to remote access using IPv4, install Tailscale on every device. It won’t serve your port forwarding needs though.

@Code9988 Why do you want to open ports?. If you are getting nat type 2/ open or moderate in games, port forwarding is not necessary. It ain't gonna change ur gameplay experience.

@tatyasky Ps4 doesn't support ipv6, but netflix app supports it. Ps5 does support it, but it's not used for online gaming, download or some other stuff. Only netflix app uses it in ps4/ps5. Only difference is that ps4 doesn't show ipv6 details in settings, but ps5 shows it, but not of much use.

Unfortunately getting nat type 3 (strict) on the PS4 , tried opening ports but as it was pointed to me, hopeless in doing so.

Xbox does support ipv6, but it's the same as playstation. It's not used for online gaming. Even if ipv6 support for online gaming comes, the difference will be minimal.
