Is Mtnl any good in Mumbai?

Hi,

Im considering to shift to Mtnl after seeing this - 20 Mbps Download & 10 Mbps Upload up to 150 GB. Just wow? I pay around the same at Airtel for 8 mbps for 80gb which is a rip off. I have been a customer with airtel for than 8 years and they always had outstanding service, no problem with speed or internet ever. Any problem got fixed the same day. A few questions -

1)Is the internet and speeds stable throughout the day? Will i get at least 8 Mbps at all times?
2)Any issues with downloading with utorrent?
3)How is the service?

and most important - i heard ad-block dosent work on mntl? im married to add-block and will be extremely difficult to part with it. 😀

Im in Colaba side.
 
stick with airtel thats all ican say now
 
Go for MTNL.
Ad-block do work on mtnl connection.
They r not blocking torrent like some operator does...
 
i would highly suggest you to be with airtel only if you want a good stable connection.
If you choose MTNL its upon your luck , you might get exceptional service or no service.
 
You will be on New Alcatel server and your internet experience will be painful.

You have been warned.
 
mtnl service depends on your area. i.e. VIP area and yes on the server port you get alloted. best of luck.
 

keeping Airtel connection ...u can try mtnl test it for 1 month and discard if not satisfied.

torrent will work full 218 kBps

streaming of movies nope.. usa sites all speed 0.2 Mbps
surfing site experience 0.3 Mbps
ad-block works perfect if not f it in host file block lol
so u decide

Thats my experience on 2 mbps line...
