Is Landline connection mandatory with BSNL BB?

1.installation charges?
2.security deposit etc? or just 1 month advance?

i wont be needing their modem as i already have D-Link modem+router combo.
 
Yes, you will need land line. And pay one month rent as advance. Some circles charge installation charges even if you handle the installation.
