Is 2 rupees every 3 days extension still a thing?

During the pandemic, Bsnl introduced auto validity extension in that it would take 2 rupees every 3 daus from the main balance to keep the sim going. So it would be 20 rs every month. Can someone who uses a BSNL sim confirm if this is still a thing or if it has been stopped?

Also, if I port from Airtel to bsnl, would I have to recharge for 129 on Airtel since the 79 pack doesn't have outgoing SMS for the port request?

Also also, are there any restrictions as to which plans you can recharge for in a newly ported BSNL sim? I remember that being the case a few years back, not sure about now.

Thanks in advance!

My parents have BSNL prepaid, 30 or whatever days validity only costs 19 rupees anyway so you'd be paying one rupee extra and 90 days for 22 rupees.
