Interruptions/pixelation during rain

facing interruptions/pixelation during rain... shows a black screen with box saying Tech error, restart the STB... sometimes total signal lossIs this common for dth, during bad weather?will getting a bigger dish be of any help?

It happens with each n every dth...nothing to worry and no solution for this...once rain falling will decrease the picture will come automatically

try putting some oil over the dish, maybe of some help...
