This is not about user's privacy. This is all about who has more control over your privacy.
 
Ive started using the search engine www.duckduckgo.com recently. It does not store data about you or track you, hence cops won't get any data if they demand from them.
Duckduckgo does not have all websites indexed but I'm able to get what I'm looking for
 
I hope you are using a VPN while conducting your searches. Because your ISP would have your data in any case.

Yup, makes sense - you still can't be 100% private & secure even with services like DDG. Well Yes, there are better than Google but still not the best way to go as long as privacy is concerned
