Hi guys, I am facing internet issue on my second router connected via LAN to primary router. I am not so good at networking and related technical stuff so please avoid any hilarious thing.
My Setup :
1) Router 1 (Primary)
Model : ZTE F670LV9.0
Internet : Airtel fibre 200Mbps plan
HDCP : ON
HDCP Range : 192.168.1.10 - 192.168.1.250
IP : 192.168.1.1
1) Router 2 (Secondary)
Model : Nokia G-2425G-A
Internet : NO
HDCP : OFF
IP : 192.168.1.2
I need a secondary Wi-Fi router on the ground floor as not getting signal of primary router on ground floor. So I thought of connecting two routers to share internet. I connected Router 2 to Router 1 via LAN cable. From Router 1 LAN port to Router 2 LAN port. Problem is that sometimes I get Internet on second router but it not works always. First it takes time to start internet access as when I connect my mobile it says no internet access for few seconds then enable internet.
Internet is working on router 2 but I face weird issue like Instagram's reels works but DMs not. Frequent disconnection (Wi-Fi) on Airtel Smart Setup box. Internet working in setup box but Amazon Prime and other OTT apps not working. They're working fine if I connect to router 1.
Can someone please tell what the issue here? What I am missing? Maybe my whole setup is incorrect?
