I am connecting my desktop with USB and my laptop with ethernet to the modem. But I cannot connect them to net at the same time. Is there any way I can share one machine's connection with the other. My desktop doesnot have a ethernet card.

just buy 3 lan cards. plug 2 into Ist pc (to which modem is connected) n 3rd into 2nd pc...

plug modem ethernet cable into Ist pc's Ist lan card

connect the 2nd ethernet card with the ethernet card on the IInd pc via a ethernet RJ-45 cable directly (if u connect 2 pcs then u dnt need a hub or switch)

go thru this now.... (hoping my words rnt confusing 4 u)
