International Channels on TATA SKY

Hi Guys, Du any one aware, when Tata Sky will launch international channels on their platform The following European channels are available in india with the following satellites. Let TATA SKY should broadcast with their DTH .RAI International (Spanish) - 1005 C-BAND ASIASAT 2 (100.5 E)RTPi (Portugese) - 1005 C-BAND ASIASAT 2 (100.5 E)TVE (Italian) - 1005 C-BAND ASIASAT 2 (100.5 E)RIK (GReek) - 0765 TELSTAR 10 (76.5 E) TV5 ASIE (French) - 0660 C-Band INTELSAT 704 (66.0E) When DISH TV broadcast the following channelsMGM MoviesTCM MoviesTrace TVSS MusicVoyages TVTV5 - asiewhat happen to TATA SKY to broadcast some more good ENGLISH channels ?

Hey if malaysia channel like Astro Supersport come to india then we can watch wwe 1 day late from America.Hey there is a chance of getting this channel when dishtv or Tata Sky or reliance bring some international channels on their platform.So don't say there is no chance.There is chance.:thumbsup:

Austin was indeed fun. Beer and more beer...WWE now is crap. They have tried bringing old superstars but that looks like a laughable attempt. Rock is gone. They seriously have nothing exciting going on for them.

babu koolguy i agree with you Let them add some india channels first then we can ask for international channels when u check the channel list most of the regional channels are not available (malayalam it self 4 channels are missed) i think other language channels like tamil , kannada ,telugu , marathi also facing this problem i hope their first prefrence will be indian channels .they are talking about tp shortage (their explanation for not giving regional channels) and providing international channels thats really stupid

From what I understand SKY is a big name in television in the UK. I do not see Tata benefitting from this collaboration as besides BBC's channels they have failed to add decent entertainment channels. UK receives english shows like Prison Break well in advance than India, so why not add these SKY channels?

For internationalschannels to be available on DTH, these channels first have to set foot within India (getting govt. permission etc.). BBC Entertainment, MGM, TCM etc have gone through this process and are hence available on various platforms.Every channel has its area of operation and programs licensed by it can only be shown in that area. TS can't pluck signals out of the air and show whatever it wants. Even in case of channels like Star World, AXN etc. programming is licensed differently. Lost (available on Star Movies in India) is shown on AXN in South East Asia.International channels (or channels showing foreign programming) will provide a dedicated Asia/ India feed only when they find it a paying proposition. Further Indian sensibilities have to be considered as far as choice of programming is concerned.Considering all these factors, it will take some time for things to improve.

I still watch wwe but not that crazy when stone cold and rock were there they both really rocked in wwe.
