Works well with 2 digit ages I guess... NiceCheck out multiplication using parallel lines...its a very neat trick to teach kids to calculate rapidly!

@topic - add the first n odd numbers and you'll always have a perfect square. 1, 1+3=4, 1+3+5=9,1+3+5+7=16, 1+3+5+7+9=25..........
 
To quickly multiply a number by 5, divide the number in two and then multiply it by 10. its faster!
