@harsh _cooldude.
Since your OS is Windows98 could be some changes in the procedure for setting the broadband connection in the computer. Modem settings should not be different.
http://i21.tinypic.com/33osc9d.jpg DQUF will not work for you now.Ip 117.xx.xx.xx
Anyway will give you the proper link/s later.

Only for reference about Windows 98.
Other settings should be similar for Beetel220BX /UT300R2U

Hi in Win98 there is no PPPOE capability in the OS, so one cant run the Beetel 220BX in bridge mode without a PPPOE client software.
But hey since Beetel 220BX has router/PPPOE capability one just has to enable DHCP from LAN settings and run PPPOE mode. Thats it...and you are set.🙂

Advance settings>>>LAN>>>Enable DHCP.
Advance settings>>>WAN>>>Edit>>>VCI/VPI=0/35>>>PPPOE>>>Username & Pass>>>Save>>>Save and Reboot.

In additions to this you can also put the DNS servers in manually in TCP/IP options.
Properties of LAN>>>TCP/IP Options>>>Manually specify DNS servers...
Enter the Airtel Servers or OpenDNS.
Note: TCP/IP has to be installed from Win98 CD....

you need to change WAN-Configuration in Beetel Modem for BSNL connection.Edit the existing wan configuration from
(Airtel Setup )

(DataOne)

At PPP Username and password give your Dataone username and password.

if you want to keep a Dial up setup for connection try Raspppoe

PS: if not working wait for others comment. particularly DataOne user
