Got my 2nd dose for free today at govt hospital. I had paid for first dose.
I visited at almost closing time, so nobody was there to take vaccine. Got my vaccine, waited for 5 min to download and verify certificate and left the center.

Does one vial contain more than needed dose for one person or its given based on age? In my both Covishield doses the doctor did open new vial but didn't used it completely

One bottle(vial) of vaccine has 10ml and it's used for 10 people.

Shouldn't it have 50ml+? Individual dose is 5ml.

Each dose is 0.5ml. Each vial is 5ml. There are 10 doses per vial. Each box from SII comes with 50 vials (i.e 500 doses/box)
