Everything is a celebration and PR event for them. Apparently, they also tried to sync the 100 crore vaccination with Mudi's 20 years of government service but the dates won't match. So sad.
100 crore vaccinations is a big achievement. Why shouldn't the govt celebrate?
Celebrate what exactly? Did the US celebrate when they delivered 100 million doses? They have delivered over 300 means 3 celebrations? I think India should celebrate after every 1 crore vaccine. Let's forget everything else that was mismanaged. Just celebrate vaccine counts. We can even forget the number of people who are getting certificates without getting the dose or getting certificates twice.
And let's not forget that we will miss the target of vaccinating 60% of adult population given our pace. But yes, let's celebrate.
