That's what I was worried about. Everyone's focus is on VPN services while they are forgetting it's gonna apply to VPS providers as well. At best they will shut their Indian servers. And I don't want to imagine the worst.

would be great if DO/Linode/Vultr exit Indian market. Seedha 18% ki bachat.

Not sure how DO would even get access to and store logs of a droplet I am renting from them.

Watching p*rn is not illegal. Sharing it is. It will be insane to try to go after people watching porn anyway lol

Though torrenting could become difficult, but a lot of people torrent without any VPN still so 🤷

I'll go with my old school way of using pro/modded VPN's for free as cracked. This way even though it may be malicious but when I'm downloading from a trusted modding site I'm basically 99% sure that I won't have to enter my details + speeds are premium 😁

i know it isn't.. but then ambani will block all sites to make us sanskari.. then they want us to view content only through Jio STB.... (Ambani be like paisa hi paisa hoga😎)

If the Indian Govt. wants them to pull out, well, VPNs will pull the plug on the Indian servers.

TBH I find EU servers especially those in Continental EU giving better download speeds on P2P (encrypted torrents at pvt trackers and random ports) than IN ones. But I am not sure what this new regulation is going to achieve. No way I'll give my PAN # or any ID to purchase a VPN subs.
