praise the lord!.even though i am a airtel user these plan will surely increase completion.The only real free market in India is the telecom sector,hell its super competition.govt vs private vs private....

I changed from HOME 500 to COMBO 2799 (50GB, 8Mbps + 300 free calls) in Durga Puja - 09. I don't see anything as good that yet.Plans aren't attractive at all. They need to halve down prices.

I have been on 2799 plan for a long time now, 8 mbps is FUN! 😀 But thinking of going for 1350 - 4 mbps up to 20 GB is not bad for my usage, plus the cost will be half...

That's nice. Of late, I've been finding 50GB's to be insufficient because of my addiction to 720/1080p's. I'd never be able to manage with only 20GB's.

Problem with 2799 is 50 GB cap... 1350 is unlimited, just the speed is FUPed down to 512k after 20 GB 🙂

Chandigarh customer care says they are not aware of any upgradation in speeds of BBG Combo 1000 ULD.The upgraded speed is supposed to be 2 mbps for 15 GB but Im not getting even 1 mbps speed 🙁

It won't auto update. BSNL guys told me that the auto thing only works up-to 2mbps plan (every other update is manual). I approached the J.E in our exchange and it was done in 20 minutes 😛

So I called the local exchange and the guy there asked me to call 12678 and when I did that they werent even aware of any changes. Then they said since there is some cable fault that they are not sure if its implementable etc. I only asked them to update the plans on their end, for which the same answer was given.
