Idea 3G on iPad4 - Problems

I am unable to get 3G work on my iPad. I have been trying to reach prepaid division but in vein. It shows E in status bar, but not 3G. I called the store from where I purchased the SIM. they say all is fine on their end.

Try putting the SIM in a 3g phone and see whether it works in it.

Not sure how far that will help. This is new SIM. and I was told that I will get 1 gab free. But the balance seems to be 0 when choked on ivr

Maybe your area doesn't have 3G coverage. Try what androidfreak said.
