Idea 3G network is live in NCR

Get Airtel don't waste your time with Idea in Delhi-Ncr.
I regret porting my other sim. Back to Airtel.

Well, fuck.

Looks like I'll be spending a miserable 3 months on Idea, then. Would port to Jio in 3 to 6 months' time along with a phone for which they support VoLTE. Looks like even though Moto G3 supports VoLTE, Jio doesn't.

I went with Idea primarily for two reasons:

1. Good postpaid combo plans.
2. Better coverage due to 900 Mhz spectrum.

Why, categorically, would you say I would be wasting my time though?

Network coverage is very unstable. phone would keep on switching between 3G n 2G and many times no network.
Speed is good when you get coverage. Airtel on 2100mhz is better than idea on 900mhz.

Thanks. Looks like I let myself be duped.

Airtel postpaid was very expensive for me -- same with Vodafone. Idea seemed to look promising while offering a good combo plan at the same time.
Oh well, I'll ride this out for 3 months and switch to Jio 499, eventually.

I have been using Idea 3G-900 for a week now. Already traveled to three cities in NCR, and the coverage overall has been very good, except a few rough patches. No complaints on speed as well.
