w3schools and the official php site, php.net both have good tutorials, but they are for experienced users who have a fair idea of programming basics. While w3schools provides a quite conscise tutorial, php.net has a rather detailed and longer one.

If you dont want to read those 500-1000 pages reference books....visit phpacademy channel on youtube.....or u can have a look at thenewboston channel that too on youtube....just watch n listen those videos....they are simply awesome.....
