I got my plan changed super fast!!!

hi guys,i was using Home 500C+. Today i went to BSNL office and given letter to change the plan to Home UL 1350+. I asked the officer when the plan will be changed. He said now itself. So, after returning home i checked the download speed to verify the plan change. i got 64kBps download speed (in old plan it was 256kBps). this shows that my plan has changed. can i start downloading unlimitedly from now onwards or i should wait till tomorrow (like after 12 midnight). please give suggestion...
 
best wait for tomorrow, verify and then re verify, BSNL has been causing a lot of problems when it comes to billing

you can check on BSNL portal and verify same with local area broadband officer (SDO) for confirmation. You may get rebate but its good to confirm first.
 
Before using freely, go to data.bsnl.in and under postpaid orders, enter the telephone no in the prescribed format and hit search. Check the effective date and status as Provisioned. Also under usage details, check the " chargeable units excluding night unlimited " is zero or not. If zero feel free to use unlimited.
 
i used some 350MB till yesterday while i was in 500C+ plan. so next month bill will be like 1350+tax+amount for 350MB usage. right???

No. Your limit is 4/30 X 2.5 GB. For excess usage, you will be charge @ 80 paise per MB. You need not pay full 1350, 1350 X 26 / 30 will be the balance amount.

Your bill is for 30 days of which 4 days in 500 C+ and 26 days in UL 1350.So total usage is ( 4 x 2.5/30 ) + unlimited = 0. For 26 days the rent will be (26/30) X Rs. 1350.Total rent = [Usage as per 500 C+ plan] + [(26/30) X Rs. 1350]Hope it is clear now.
 
When you give the change of plan its done at the end of month ....... Conversion is done almost with in 6 hours from 12'0 clock ... mine was converted with in 2 hours on 1 st of month ...
