Huawei Smartax Mt882 Latest Firmware.

Hi everybody ... 🙂 This is my first post in this forum and this is a requestI am a BSNL DataOne broadband user in India. My ADSL modem is Huawei SmartAX MT882 with a firmware version V200R001C01B021SP03 Jun 20 2005 Which dont have DMZ optionSo if any one have this modem with latest firmware version (Huawei SmartAX-MT882 v3)RAS FW Version V100R025023DSL FW Version 3.5.0.2Build date 2006/01/10which have DMZ option please post any where in the web (ie link-removed or on any file hosting site).I will be greatfull to you. This is my first post with many expectation that you can help me.There is no place on web from where I can download this firmware (not even from Huawei site).This forum is the last hope for me.Please 🙂 Thanks in advance.

I tried to upgrade my MT882, but couldn't do. I receive an 'Invalid File Name' error while trying to upgrade.

Below is the original V200R001C01B021SP03 firmware, in case you need to roll back the firmware.

Thank Thanks Thanks for the reply.Yes I do have the same warning while tryong to update via web page.I think we need to do this by tftp and/or ftp .Can any one give a step by step guide how to this .Thanks .

Try changing the extension of the firmware dump to .xDSL, that is the default extention of the firmware for huwawei modems.

the installation is showing invalid upgrade file. I have tried both the uploaded file and the file from driversguide. I tried upgrading thru tools->firmware upgrade. Any idea why its happening??

Move your upgrade file to the root folder of any drive

supppose it is on
E:\Odf\common\broadband modem\MT841_V100R001C01B021SP03_20051223\MT841 V100R001C01B021SP03_20051223

then move it to

E:\

The modem has a problem if the path including filename is more than 128 characters.

Try your firmware upgrade then.

Im still getting the same error. IS the bin file the same as xDSL file. I tried changing the extension and upgrading the file.Im still getting the same file.I have connected my modem thru LAN and modem type is mt882....Someone PLLLLZZZ HEEELLLPP.. 🙁 🙁

OK.MT880 firmware version(which is afaik a hacked 882 firmware!):
Current Firmware Version: V200R001C01B021SP03 Firmware Date: Jul 6 2005
