Huawei E1731 Disconnecting issue with USB Extension Cable.

Hi Everybody,I have Airtel Huawei E1731 Unlocked modem, Due to poor network i am using 3 meter USB extension cable, I am using with my Samsung Laptop.The main issue is--Whenever I use Modem with USB extension cable, the modem disconnect itself after 2-3 mins of browsing/downloading. and again it detect modem automatically.(it disconnect like removing USB cable from usb port, i hear usb disconnect sound each time)Modem works very well without USB extension cable.I have checked my USB extension cable with friends PC, it is not having any problem.So i think problem is with my laptop.Pls help me guys..
