Huawaei Quidway Wa 1003a wireless configuration

Hi, I have a Huawei wa1003a router which i bought with BSNL around 2 years back. I have used it with LAN connection all this time.Now I have shifted the room and have got laptop so i am trying to use with a wireless connection. Now, The connection works fine when i connect it through LAN but its not working through wireless. The wireless light is not glowing on the modem. I have tried changing the channel on the router page but nothing is working. Please help

try resetting the modem, it will work or else change the modem. if the modem is purchased from BSNL and is lessthan 2 years old modem will be replaced

Check whether the wireless lan card of the Laptop is enabled.
The modem: Does it need need an extra wireless card ?.
Also post ipconfig /all to check no problem with of IP's allotted.
Start Network/Wireless Network status . Check and report.

Hi guys, my problem got solved and the net is working fine now. But is it not possible to connect two laptops with one WPA protection key?

Hi,Its working fine now. Actually i tried with unsecured first and then applied WPA protection. So the previous setting had got saved in one computer and thats why the net wasnt working. Problem got solved by creating a new wireless connection.Thanks for the support guys,Wishes and regards,Ganesh Ranganathan
