HP notebook...cheating consumers...

i purchased my HP notebook dv3 series on 28 august 2010...after 7 days...my harddisk crashed...my sister couldnt recover her thesis data...after that day...my notebook is giving lot of problems...i want this notebook to be replaced...we are already very harassed and we are planning to file consumer case...i want hp company to replace my laptop..

What are you expecting? People from the forum to call you and console you on buying a lemon? Shoot an email to their cc explaining your problem in detail with ALL relevant info. Wait for a day or two. Then CC it further, also to some consumer magazines/forums etc. and HP global support. If everything fails, then file a consumer case.
 
If harddisk crashed, they will give you new harddisk. They wont give u full new laptop.
