HP Cartridge new buy and refill

I bought HP 1515 Ink advantage printer couple of months back mainly for its scanning function but I used it for printing too quite a bit and after giving out around 350-400 pages the black cartridge got emptied. I got it refilled from a nearby shop for 50 bucks but it just gave around 60-70 prints and is again printing blank so it need refilling. Now my queries:

1. What exactly is ink advantage, is it printer function or cartridge dependent? I am confused because I thought refill will give me good number of print outs but 60-70 is too less. Was the cartridge not refilled properly or refilled cartridge will give this much pages only even on ink advantage printer

2. If I buy original 678 black cartridge, will I be able to print approx. 400 pages again?

3. Need recommendation on as to where to buy cartridge from. Amazon and FK is giving 678 for around 450. Any place better?

Ya sorry missed your previous post. Will these bottle work on HP cartridge 678 and what is the output printout wise - same as original or quite less or less but acceptable.

Search for bottles suitable for your printer. (But I think mostly ink are same). I think dye ink are better as they dont dry inside cartridge but not sure.

Print quality is good or acceptable to me atleast. Using from 2 years.

No. of copies reduce over years as ink absorbing capacity of SPOUNGE inside cartridge decrease over years as dry ink stick to it.

On average you get 5-7 refills for cartridge before they are no more usable.

I will buy it from snapdeal. They are offering the cheapest deal beside giving 1gb each for 3 months for aircel which I can also use.
Only confusion remains is that their 678 cartridge page states compatible printer 2515 while mine is 1515, so what to do?

Just check the compatible cartridges model on HP site for your specific printer. It does not matter what Snapdeal says about the cartridges on their own website.
