How- WiMax Works?

Friends,May be silly question.I want to know BSNL WiMax works. Do i need antenna (like DTH Antenna) for this?Can i simply add like WiFi card in my laptop and use it?Does it have mobility? can i use while i travel ofcourse it if has coverage?ThanksBala
