A pretty odd question.

Can some of you guys help me as i live in a large house and Signal from my WiFi router in my other end of house does not reach my room. and I have a Netgear WiFi router and I want to use it as a Signal booster type!
The walls also lower the signal quality.

And 1 more thing I would like to ask!
Can We create WLan between many PC using a WiFi router by MTNL or NetGear one?

Because I do Gaming and All my friends come to my house and We set Up adHoc lan connection B/W 8 PCs and I would love to know if there is a way to Use my WiFi router ad Acess point so we all can view our games!

I tried but does not seem to work directly connecting to Router.

Thank a lot !

Antenna boosters are available. Google search "Broadband Antenna boosters."
for information :http://www.pinecomputer.com/gb80inbrsibo.html

Position the WIFI router as high as possible
in the room. or in first floor if possible. Maximum possible a radius of 30 feet ( *conditions apply !)
Check the range with a cordless phone ( 2.4 GHz preferred) and try paging/intercom the base.
There is no limit to the number of computers which can access a wireless network. read somewhere 243 were used !
Do you see any other Wireless network listed ( secured/unsecured) in your computer ? and the signal strength ?

Try this free alternative. I started using this two years ago and it works like a charm. I couldn't catch my wireless router's signal in my room, so i used this. I'm attaching the direct link as well as a video of how it works. Hope it works for you too..good luck!

I use a secured WEP-128bit authentication for my router.
Well maybe you didnt get my question(I am bad at explaining😀)
So I start all over again!

I wanted to know if there is a way so that My router can act as a LAN acess point and all the computers connected to it are in same LAN!
So that I can view games or transfer files! and use internet too!
I use ad hoc to create LAN between 8~10 other PCs but I cant get Internet.
and we love playing with other players from all over the world!

SO I hope you guys understood what I am trying to say! 🙂
