I am facing problems with BSNL during browsing, I have to Refresh the page 4-5 times to open.So I want to fix this- I want to switch to Open DNS. Just changing the IPv4 properties by entering the open DNS servers address in "Use the following DNS servers" is enough???Open DNS servers addresses:208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220But when I open the modem by 192.168.1.1 there it is still the default DNS servers😀NS Primary 218.248.255.147 DNS Secondary 218.248.255.146Note: I use Wireless (WiFi).Please tell me actual procedure. Thanks!!!

if you want you can change the settings in your modem too. windows would probably use the settings in network settings. if there are no settings entered, it would use the settings from the modem.

So I want to fix this- I want to switch to Open DNS. Just changing the IPv4 properties by entering the open DNS servers address in "Use the following DNS servers" is enough???

Open DNS servers addresses:208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220

But when I open the modem by 192.168.1.1 there it is still the default DNS servers:
DNS Primary 218.248.255.147
DNS Secondary 218.248.255.146

Note: I use Wireless (WiFi).

Please tell me actual procedure.

Thanks!!!

Since you are using more than one system, you can either add Open DNS in both machines or simply in your modem. If you add in modem, all systems connected to wifi too will have Open DNS. I manually entered in both machines in my case and it works fine.
