How to stop Airtel promo before outgoing call

For the past month or so, whenever I place an outgoing call, I get a disingenuous promo message from Airtel that my data package is expiring on that very day and that I can get a good 3G data package for so-and-so rate. Only after the message is played does the call connect to the other party.

I'm on a prepaid SIM and I've activated DND long ago.

Has anyone else experienced this? How can I stop it?

This company cannot do anything good.
 
Received a call from Airtel this morning. It was short. I asked them to stop and they said they will. Hopefully, that's the end of it.
 

Received a couple of calls from CSRs over the past few days, each promising a stop to the IVR. Yet I still get them. Thank God for MNP.
 
Good luck getting out of Airtel. My previous attempts were blocked by this fucking evil company.
