Is there a way of knowing how much of the 150 MB limit is utilised?

Session details is very deliberate option since it does not tell how much is been utilised from 8:00 am onwards. It shows up as a continuos session.

To sum it up: What I mean to say is if you have set something for download from say 6:00 am to 9:00 am- how to make out how much is utilised from 8:00 am to 9:00 am since session details only shows the amount utilised as on 9:00 am.

Moreover it is not possible to automate downloads to stop at 8:00 am since everytime one has to log off by manually confirming on a deliberate log off screen. Is there any way of passing that screen or automating computer shutdown(which can surpass the screen confirmation).

In India its always the customer/consumer who is exploited by deliberation of such conspicuous strategies and always has to do with below substandard service!!!

I would prefer not to use the alternative clients to get banned or fined by the ISP.

Cheers all!

cancer10 thanks for the prompt suggestion. Is it not an alternate software...or client?
Pls let me know if I am not getting my definitions right.
I have used it before and I liked it however I dont want any future issues about violating this or that.
(Infact the software you are suggesting is the what sify should have given in the first place rather than their crappy deliberate good for nothing software. :( )

If such is the case then is it possible to only have a 150 MB alarmer program explicit from the signing in/off feature. Something that can be used as soon as one signs in using sify program...tells the time and limit....and that which can force sify to disconnect at said time???

Cheers all!

Sify guard is neither an alternate software nor a client, it plays a role for letting you know how much data you have consumed at the duration assigned. It is NOT any violation of rule to use Sify Guard.Thanx
