How to split reliance metro

How to split reliance metro??
I am using reliance 1099, 4 mbps metro ethernet
I get only one lan cable which has to be directly fitted to the compouter
I have a laptop and a pc
I dont have a router
When I use a splitter to distribute the broadband, I face problems and it will take 10 minutes to make the internet come to both the pcs,
I will have to expire the session and logout in both pcs seperately and then it may work, else I do it again till it works.
Is there any way to do this easily without a router??
or do I have to buy a router??

Nope. Coz I have no idea how Reliance authenticates. We used to use a switch to share Airtel connections to multiple computers through a LAN cable.

Get a switch. Authenticate from any one PC. Should work in both.
