How to improve privacy of online browsing in Mozilla Firefox?

just a psa. if you are using firefox... do turn on ESNI and doh on it.

for doh... load about:config, search for network.trr. set value to 2.
for esni... load about:config, search for network.security.esni.enabled and set it to true.

2 basically tells Firefox to fallback to unencrypted if encrypted doesn't work. Needed for accessing local ips. 5 iirc blocks all insecure connections. Mozilla should have a support document about it.
