How to get series link activated for a recurring program

The "series link" feature in Tata Sky Plus is activated only if the content provider has marked the program as a "series" in the electronic program guide.At times there are programs that are a series though the series link does not appear for them.How to get the series link activated for such programs?When asked, Tata Sky Plus customer service says this issue has to be taken up with individual channel.Tried contacting concerned channel through contact provided on their website. But no response from them.Has anybody managed to get "series link" activated, for a series that was not already marked as a series?
