How to Get Airtel's Backend to enable Bridge Mode

Folks,

I see a lot of you have been successful in getting Airtel's Backend to enable the bridge mode on your connections. I have been at it for the past 4 days and I am yet to encounter a knowledgable individual at Airtel's Call Center. I have escalated it to the Nodal email provided and I am hopeful they get this done.; however, I wanted to pick your brains on how you managed to enable the Bridge Mode.

Any advice / guidance is much appreciated.

@Rickysin I have tried it and I have already posted that i have disabled the bridge mode. The pings are normal now.

@imdarkray I had bridge mode for 2 days bro, it was the same. Also as i said, i got only 122 series in bridge mode.

@imdarkray I noticed that too, IP has location assigned so sometimes I get delhi and ghaziabad IP and pings are usually litte higher.

@nishantt6969 IP location has nothing to do with latency. Not faulty router, it's something on their end.

@GR2 I hope that is true, but telling you what I observed. Ghaziabad Ip gives me 22ms to 8.8.8.8 while Lucknow IPs give me 10ms to 8.8.8.8

@nishantt6969 Geo location is not accurate everytime. When i had jio fiber, i used to get IP from 3 different states, but ping was the same.

I am even getting 223 series ip now. Afaik, it's used for 4g.

i am using the same router and even i am unable to get ipv6 but i am in bangalore and no CG-Nat yet , so may be ipv6 not enabled yet.

Did ipv6 work on your AX10?

Already deleted wan profile 6 months back. I am on bridge mode with TP-Link ax10 router.

On that ipv4 pppoe is working perfectly fine.
Ipv6 on enabling it does not provide any ip

There seems to be a bug in TP Link Ax10, it can't connect to ipv6 on airtel.

heh yeah. airtel customer support is basically like that. they decide if they want to support you or not.

Last time I got their attention somehow that's what the local engineer eventually said after stuff was resolved. To call him on the number he called in, next time we have issues.

Hey, I am also facing an ipv6 error with my AX20. 3 days ago, the internet had suddenly stopped. I disabled the ipv6 on TP-Link and in ipv4 internet was working fine. Then went onto my ZTE ONT settings and found that ipv6 was disconnected there as well. Is it the case that Airtel had disabled ipv6 recently?
