How to connect using Belking Home G Wireless Router + UTSTAR Modem?

I recently purchased a Belkin router (G) for wirelessly connecting my laptop. I already have the 3 year old UTSTAR Modem provided by BSNL.I tried connecting to the internet with the router but in vain.I have tried Dynamic, PPPoE and Static Mode but no help.Router IP: 192.168.2.1Modem IP: 192.168.1.1I can access both when I select Dynamic and Static mode but only Router when on PPPoE mode.Currently I am using PPPoE mode on the computer i.e I use the dial-up settings.Is anybody using Belkin and knows the correct method?Do I change settings on the modem aswell?Please help!Thanks! 🙂

I have similar issue Saurav.. I want to connect Belkin N150 Router to BSNL UTSTAR ADSL modem.. I tried various settings but in vain.. Let me know if you were successful..

In the setup connection choose PPoe

IP add 192.168.2.100
Subnet mask 255.255.255.0
Default gateway 192.168.2.1
VPI / VLC 0/35
